I love this shoe. At last I feel that the square toe is destined to become a classic but only when done elegantly. This new last is best shown by a long plain front like on this shoe. The sole is slim but still substantial and the 4 eyelet quarters make the shoe a little continental even though the shoe is 100% English.
This kind of sums up what we do in that it would not be out of place on the catwalk or in the bank manager’s office. Either way it will last a lot longer than most shoes that look like this.
